Tier 2 approved - how to get a Schengen

Hi everyone,

My Tier-2 (Company Sponsored) Visa has just been approved and I am waiting for the solicitrs to receive my documents and the biometrics card. (I was on a PSW Visa before this)

I plan to visit France for a weekend soon on a leisure trip. Can someone please advise what the process would be to go about getting a Schengen visa for my trip.

I am an Indian citizen, been in the UK for 3 years and have never applied for a Schengen/any other country visa before.

Shengen Visa for France as a main destination is now taken care of by an external agency called TLS Contact (similar to VFS dealing with UKBA in India).

You will need to make an application and attend a short interview, so face to face. The visa comes withing 3-4 days of attending the interview. My husband and I both applied and got 6 months visa last year. All the best!
