New Company

Hi,

I am currently on PSW my visa expires in November 2012. My friend is a sole trader and his yearly turn-over is about £70k. As I mentioned he is a sole trader and he hasn't registered his company. I have a few questions.

1. Does the company has to be registered for Tier2? If yes, is it very late to register the company?
2. Is it required to have a physical office or he can still use his home address?
3. Once I get the Tier2, can I work from home doing my assigned duties (mainly software development).

I would really very appreciate to have a response from you experts.
