Hi All,

I am in need of urgent help. My wife and I recently got married and she was on PSW before now. Now she wants to apply as my defendant, since I am on Tier-1 general visa.

I appreciate any assistance I can get on this.

I am also in this very situation and want to know if my wife who is in UK on PSW can apply to be my dependent within UK or not?

Any replies on this will be appreciated.

Hi,

There are lots of threads on this on the forum already.

Unfortunately, they would have to go back to their home country and apply as they can't switch to dependant visas in-country from PSW.

yes thats correct you can not swith over in UK u need to go back to home country and then apply as dependent.
