Application for BC

Sorry if this has been asked before but I'm not clear about the timescales for BC applications.

I'm a British Citizen and my husband is Jamaican. He came into the UK on 6th March 2009 on a spouse visa and subsequently got his ILR on 8th February 2011.

When can he apply for British Citizenship? Would it be February 2012 or March 2012?

For the spouse of a british citizen the requirement is 3 years living in the UK plus being free from immigration control.

He moved to the UK Mar 09 and so can apply Mar 12 given he is free from immigration control via the ILR
