FLR[M] Queries

Post by thomas82 » Mon Jan 30, 2012 7:58 pm

I was on Tier 1 General Visa when I got married and was able to bring my wife to UK as Tier 1 dependant.

Earlier this month I got my Indefinite Leave To Remain, and my wife who is currently in UK is planning to submit the FLR(M) application form to switch to dependent of my current visa.

As per the current rules I know she is required to show that she can speak and understand English. And for this purpose she successfully completed the IELTS test from one of the recognized test centers in India with an overall band score of 7.5. She is planning to submit the IELTS Test Report Form as proof of her ability to speak and understand English.

My question is ,will IELTS Test Report Formbe be enough? or will she have to produce anything more?

Could some one please give me some information regarding the funds I am required to maintain when my wife applies for the visa?

I'm planning to pay for the visa fees by writing out a cheque from my account,is this fine ?

Do I need to get a letter from my employer stating that I'm in full time employment with them?

Im planning to submit my 6 months payslips and bank statements, tenancy agreement and utility bills, will this enough to prove that I can take care of her with my income?

Do I have to submit a sponsorship letter with the application?

Im sure there are people who have had experiences applying for this visa, would you please be kind to advice me with the above?

Since she has got a IELTS Test Report Form from the British Council,India i didnt think it was necessary to submit the NARIC letter.

Im sending my passport,3months payslips and bank statments, tenancy agreement and utility bills.

yes but she has IELTS at (way above) the required standard so she can submit this.
