Query - Tier 1 General Extension

Post by pgaitonde » Mon Feb 06, 2012 12:18 pm

I am going to apply for a Tier 1 General extension on March 6th in person and i have a question - If there is any issue in the form or any question is not correctly written then does the case worker tell you about it and give you the opportunity to change it, then and there?

If you have doubts in any section why not ask the question on this forum.

It actually depends on the caseworker. A friend who recently applied at Croydon was asked to change some salary details as the evidence provided for Salary was deemed to be insufficient. He removed the evidence for Salary and just claimed the points based on dividend. He had to update the same in the form as well (changed the relevant salary band).

He got the approval.

Thanks for answering. my wife was using her old passport until OCt 2010 and then she applied for her new passport based on our marriage certificate. When i am filling up the dependant form the questions now are becoming very tedious and confusing so the reason for me to ask the question. What if some points are wrong?
