visit visa extension

we are 2 brothers and are in uk with our families on psw visa.
our parents are also over here on visit visa expiring on 4-04-2012.

Can we apply the extension visa for 2 years for parents as they have no one in their home country. they are old and diabetic as well.
what can be the possibilities for their stay without going back home.

no - you cannot apply for an extension of a visit visa, and general visitors are generally not permitted to stay in the UK for more than 6 months in any 12 month period. If your parents need looking after then perhaps either you or your brother should consider returning home with them?
