Traveling the EU with the PSW

Does anyone know the rules for traveling the EU with a PSW? Are there any rules about traveling for pleasure? How about working in another country?

I am a musician and so in my case it would be playing a gig in another country.

Check out the visa rules for the country you want to work/ perform in. The UK is not in Schengen so your PSW does not allow you to work in other countries in Europe.
