was my PEO appointment successfully booked?

Post by jeffro » Thu Feb 09, 2012 8:22 pm

Hi all,

Trying to secure a last minute appointment at one of the PEO's to extend my Tier 1.

Last night when logged on at midnight, I spotted what I needed, a slot became available at Croydon on the 22nd Feb. Perfect. I clicked to reserve the appointment and shortly after the browser crashed. Disaster! However I immediately received an email confirming the appointment, complete with reservation reference number.

However when I log onto the UKBA website under Manage My Account, Appointments, it says "no appointments"

Does this sound normal, have I been extremely lucky and managed to secure the appointment? Or does this sound like a problem with the UKBA systems?

I'll be calling them up tomorrow to double check but interested to hear if anyone else has had similar issues. Any info is appreciated.

Cheers,
Jeff

If it helps, on the first night I tried to book an appointment my broadband got disconnected just when I clicked to confirm my details. And I didn't receive any confirmation e-mail or anything (when connection returned, no appointments were left).
So if you did receive a confirmation e-mail there's a chance you made it. Although I agree you should call to make sure that you did.

Your appointment is definitely booked. My situation is same. I got one for MArch 19 and i just got an email and no confirmation when i log in. I have confirmed twice with UKBA and they told me that their system has a glitch which will be fixed this week and i just need to bring the email print out and it will be fine. You can call 0870606 7766 and confirm the same with them.

Thanks everyone.
Got through on the phone and confirmed the appointment.
In the words of the lady I talked with "if you've received the email then it's definitely confirmed"

This forum has been a huge help. Thanks so much!

Same here. My browser crashed too just after selecting my slot and confirming. Nothing on my UKBA login but got the email. Lady on phone confirmed that it was booked.
