"COMAPNY IS NOT SPONSORING TIER 2

Post by MICKY1012 » Fri Feb 10, 2012 3:29 pm

Hi
I am on PSW now which ends on end of this year. there is new job I applied to. but i got response like the company is no position to sponsor me Tier 2 for longer stay in UK as it is permanant position although my experience and skill are relevant and matched what they are looking for.

so I am thinking,
why is the company not in position to sponsor me ? or they just do not want to !!! ?
Is there any alternative way i can solve that issue ?

Please share opinions if you know any please, because I really like that job, the pay is not that good though!!.
Thanks. your inputs appreciated!

You need to find from your company that when they say:

the company is no position to sponsor me Tier 2 for longer stay in UK as it is permanant position although my experience and skill are relevant and matched what they are looking for.

Do they mean that they think they can't sponsor you with a tier 2 because it is a permanent position?
Because a company can definitely sponsor a permanent position.
They could e ignorant of the rules and fine print.

However if you think this is simply a ploy to not sponsor you, then nothing much can be done here, the company most definitely should WANT to sponsor you.

OP don't get me wrong but I think this company doesn't want to sponsor you even though you have the necessary skills and experience for the job role. Because they mentioned "permanent" I think they are looking for someone like you but with a permanent type of visa. e.g: TIER1 General etc.

Don't lose hope, keep looking and some company will give you an opportunity, work hard and prove them you are worthy enough to be sponsored.

Hi. thank you both for your answers and time.
that response is from agent, not directly from company itself.
so I am wondering that only agent was making that decision.

We will never know... maybe the agent doesn't want to put through people who can't work here on a limited visa unless sponsored by the company.
