ILR Application with old Work Permit - Salary query

Post by SafaP » Wed Feb 15, 2012 10:27 am

Hi

I am applying for ILR at the beginning of March and have a concern about my application that I was hoping you could share advice.

My company applied for a Work Permit for me in 2007 and stated my salary is £30k ote. The work permit was granted starting in March 2007 and it stated salary remuneration is £30k. Now my basic salary is £25k however I earn commission and all (except the first year) my P60's show that I have earned £30k and over. My company needs to write a letter of employment and can only state my basic salary is £25k (as this shows on salary slips + commission amount) but will also mention I earn commission and Bonus.
Will my basic salary of £25k be a problem and can my company include commission and bonus on the letter?

With regards to the SOC Code:
I have identified my SOC code and it states I need to earn a minimum of £9.71 per hour. Was there SOC codes in 2007 for work permits? For my original work permit application I provided my CV and my responsibilities have stayed the predominantly the same. (A solicitor handled the application so I don’t have the original copies)

Many thanks in advance for your help and advice.
