Here are my details. I do hope someone can shed some advice on the situation.
I am a caribbean citizen (of the commonwealth) - Trinidad to be exact.
I got married in June back home to a trinidian girl i been living with for 2 years up here in London (on working holidaymaker visa)
She has student visa for three years and automatically as being married I got a dependant visa for 3 years as well which allows me to flex myself to my utmost potential. As you all know I can work, study and/or be self employed unrestricted. I recently registered to pay tax as self employed and am following the rules and giving my share in tax of what I bring into this country via my Online Market projects. I am very versed online and command quite alot of internet real estate (sites) and do different joint ventures with other marketers and people worldwide.
What I like the UK for is there are more opportunities here for me than my small caribbean country.
Anyway as the topic indicates I want to get a divorce asap from my wife. In fact its very required asap as circumstances are very nasty between us and I want out asap.
As you know my dependant visa will be revoked.
Here are my issues.
1) I may start divorce proceedings back in my country soon ( my dad is a lawyer and will start the proceedings). I assume I can do anything freely until the divorce is finalized? Will my status get revoked? I would hate to loose this status as it's now begun (got practically 3 years on it)
2)a) When the divorce becomes final what other options are available to me? I'm not intending to study. Just be self employed for now.
b) how good is an innovator visa?
3) I've also met someone (female) who wants to get married to me. I do know if we get married i can get another dependant visa. Would this be the best option? Will the Home Office look at how quick i married, got dependant visa and divorced? Will this affect my chances of being granted another dependant visa? or any other visa?
4) Any other information you think that would be helpful would be appreciated.
