What checks do UKBA do of Limited Companies?

... when I apply for a Tier-1 visa?

Companies House provides a 'web check' feature into which you can enter any registered company's name and it brings up their incorporation documents, accounting returns filed, etc.

What other checks do UKBA do to corroborate the stuff people put in their submitted documents?

I smell something unethical being cooked here!!! Why you're worried about what checks they do? Go with what all they ask for and let them do their job ?

To be honest, I dont see anything unethical in asking such question. You would obvoiusly worried about if your company has missed the deadline of filing the vat return or corporate return or late return of these things with penalty.

Obviously no body wants their visa to get rejected for these reason which could be because of the accountant you are using..
