*My application was approved on 23/1/12 but I didn't receive a letter from the UKBA. Southwark council sent me a letter on 22/3/12 to notify me that I had only another month to collect my certificate, which was how I found out about the approval. The original invitation letter had likely been lost in the post.

My invitation was also originally issued for a different council to the one I requested. The UKBA sorted out the mistake in about 10 days.
