Contry of primary residence

Post by Katta » Fri Nov 03, 2006 5:34 pm

Hi all,
i have been staying in the UK for the past one year but for the initial period of 3-4 Months i was primarly here on business visa for training purposes, but from January end i am here on Work permit so that makes it 9 Months of stay on Work permit.
Now during the initial period i was employed in India but was in UK for training, so would this duration also count as my primary residence in UK or it would be India?

Now i am planning to apply for HSMP visa. My salary package that i get is satisfying the option to get 25 points for 28 years and above but since i have not completed one year on work permit i still cannot show that i have earned £40K in the last year.

My Salary in India also allows me to fall into the category where in i can Apply for HSMP but only if for that period of stay India is considered as my primary location.

Any one faced similar situations, Kindly Advice.
