hello, but why you removed my EASY posts? the fact that i highlighted a HOLE in the immigration rules doesnt make me guilty... you should fix the rules not remove my posts... and i was sharing my 8 years uk experience with others.to see what they think. it is a uk immigration board isnt it?

please justify

I thought your job is a moderator, not to call people Stupid ..

and the fact that I know someone who used these Holes ,, proves that someone else is stupid... so please leave the post for pople to judge... and dont keep it for yourself..

Kyalami do you agree??? I used this board for the last 4 years. don t we always talk about GREY area in immigration rules?? i need an appology and TNAVON to be voted out because he described me as a stupid.

K2004 - apologies for any unpleasant experience on the Board; I've already edited tnavon's post - as soon as I saw it. Tnavon is not a moderator, by the way.

Not sure what was in your post, so can't judge the merits of the argument, but I do hope that it will be more civilized and constructive in the future. Hope it's really a one-off occasion.

P.S. I just saw your latest post and had to edit it as well due to country / ethnic references that could lead to further escalation, which, I believe, is unnecessary. Thanks.

I can tell you what was in his original post - he bragged that he found a way to cheat Immigration Officers and win an ILR.

I acknowledge your comments regarding the open nature of the forum and your participation/ contribution in the past. However I am sure you would likewise agree with me that the contents of the posts in question i.e. WP extension for dummies and ILR for Dummies is contrary to the 'legality' spirit as per the terms of use in particular point 3.

Accordingly it is best that such topics are removed which I did - it is not always possible to explain such actions but I as well as other moderators endeavour to take corrective action in fairness and in good faith. It may be helpful to note that I have likewise responded to a similar post (locked as a deterent) in this forum on the subject of third party access to the UK Visa Warning Database

I also agree that it is helpful for members not to speak disparagingly of each other. Users can be banned from the forum as appropriate if this occurs. Can we all calm down and carry on the very useful contibution we all make in our own way. Thank you for your understanding.

yes Cosmo,, for the Ethnic things ( but it is 100% true what I said - Argenina did have an arab president Carloss Muneem who was i beleive Syrian / Lebanise origin) nothing to be ashamed about..

K2004 - when spoken "as a matter of fact", it's certainly fine; but when you seem to be getting back at someone in the "heat" of the argument, it starts having connotations, and may easily (even if falsely) trigger someone else's participation in the same way.

Most insults are mere facts, presented in specific context, or tone of voice or expression of face, etc.

Thank you for your understanding. It was easier to delete the posts because I would have to edit out more or less all the content making the post lose relevance i.e. it doesn't make much of a difference. I locked a post this morning which I also made a sticky to deter topics of a similar nature being posted. Don't take it personal - it wasn't meant to be a 'targetted at you act'. Have a good afternoon - almost home time and hopefully you can enter a more chilled zone.

but unfortunatley taking the TUBE is not more chilled zone... especially from the Zone 1 central London to Zone 4.
