HSMP to PR

I am currently under HSMP. I have an enquiry relating to indefinite leave to remain. Do I need to continuously work for 5 years in order to be qualified for indefinite leave to remain under HSMP. If I was unemployed for 3 months during my third year stay, is it gonna affect my indefinite leave to remain application?

Any helps on this would be very much appreciated!
