Help Please Urgent Tier 2 Incountry Application

Post by bvinay » Tue Feb 21, 2012 12:29 pm

Hi,
I have applied for Tier 2 General switching from PSW Decision on my application has not been made yet but there has been error in SOC code and it's salary band. Can we make changes in COS before it has been decided? and Let UKBA know about it?

Please let me know asap If you can

Thanks

Once the COS has been assigned you can't make any changes to it, Your sponsor could put a "sponsor note" along with the COS of any changes. But as far as I know you can only use this to report minor errors such as spelling mistakes etc, I was in a similar situation before but I didn't make the application. My company withdrew the COS and requested a new COS and assigned it again.

I read it here before that some people have send some sort of "change of circumstance" form and had some success. But I could be wrong. wait for an expert advice.
In three words I can sum up everything I've learned about life: it goes on :)

Dear bvinay,

Entering an incorrect SOC code is classed as a significant error

If you have made a significant error, you must cancel the CoS and assign a new one if needed

This would not constitute a change of circumstance and a "sponsor note" can only be added to a CoS that has been assigned.

if you need further advice you can contact me direct at info@spammer.com or visit our website www.spammer.com for our contact details

Best wishes
