I mean, can I request for settlement (ILR) if I am on T2 ICT ? Have read somewhere that Tier 2 ICTs do not lead to settlement?

When did you apply for Tier 2 (ICT) leave?

I will be getting T2 ICT in Dec. Just want to check if I can apply for ILR after spending 5 years in UK, under T2 ICT visa? I have heard that the law is changed and one cannot get settlement (ILR) under T2 ICT anymore. Please confirm.

Then no. What you have heard is correct - Since April 2010, Tier 2 (ICT) migrants are not eligible for settlement.

What if I get T2 General? Will I be eligible for settlement?

Also if I get T2 ICT currently can I get it changed to T2 General or T1 after sometime?

In simple words is there any way to get settlement if I come to UK on T2 ICT?

Can you change from Tier 2 (ICT) to Tier 2 (General) from within UK?
Perhaps

Is a Tier 2 (General) migrant eligible for settlement?
Under current rules, yes.

Will a Tier 2 (General) migrant qualify for settlement in future?
May be .. or may be not.

Hello,

Someone who has got his Tier 2 ICT after 6th April 2010 but before 6th April 2011 : can he/she apply for settlement after 10 years of continuos residence?

That will require all extensions to be made in country, which I hope is feasible for those in this situation.

Thanks
