5 years reckonable residency is the requirement to apply for Irish Naturalization, having a 5 years one-off called long term does not give you a lea way or could catapult you in getting a speeding naturalization by virtue of common good. Hope that answers your question.starbuck wrote:All,
I applied for Citizenship and LTR in aug-2011. I got my LTR in may-12 and i have sent that to the citizenship division.
I am not going to get the June-12 approval. Any idea as to whether i can make it to Aug-12 or Oct-12 ?
I have applied on 5 year residency and am planning to take a break and go to my country for 6 months due to family reasons.
Thanks

Seasayoub, we heard that, you'll be crucified by September coming after two years of waiting is that correct ?seasayoub wrote:Me honest, i don't feel the 4000, figures mentioned all the time around me or my folks, what's going on then..........depim wrote:Sea... mine is between 10 and 15 years. and so if they say 4 weeks before, "as they didn't say anything to me" mine is not in June one
nissa wrote:as said by people on this forum three ceremony's left this year June,Aug and Oct so its means that at the end of this year all the back lock will be over.4000 applicants chosen means that this figure could be from almost one year back log so every ceremony covers around one year backlog.we are nearly there after June they will start working with 2011 applications hope fully 2010 will be over in June.
