.Yes they are really confusing, only thing I can imagine is that it is for the last 60 or 120 days from when published. AHM is only showing 7 people for settlement at 85% which worries me... What I have noticed is a huge increase in Visit visas in every office. They were like 450-500 on an average per category but now they are 1000 on an average from each office. No wonder why its taking them long as they look swamped with visa applications

I applied for my sons (4 month old) settlement visa at mumbai north on 1st march 2012. Both myself and my wife have ILR in UK. My son was born in mumbai. Anyways, we are delighted that his settlement (ILE) visa was approved on 23 may 2012 and we got the passport through bluedart today....It looks like BHC in mumbai are very buzy and are taking around 60 working day to make a decision. We never thought that it would take sooo long to get the visa for a 4 month old child with both parents having ILR in UK. The last week especially was very difficult and painful waiting. You never know, in June they might process quicker, in Feb they where processing in 30-40 working days and then suddenly it went to 50-60 days.... My mrs applied on 1st May and still in application process status. I would be over the moon if her visa is granted by end of June (2 full months) but is this wishful thinking!??

. I agree, like I wrote above, I think it will speed up again now. Unfortunatley Im in the slow batch along with a few others. I have met many people on this forum and also off this forum and many people who applied either same day as me or just after me are all still waiting, but once this batch is out im sure it will all speed up. I applied in April i am in week 7 and working day 32. I have the same hope as you do. Lets hope they process ours quickly, there was a large batch cleared in April month so i hope our applications are really under process

Keep positive I am sure it will be fine, i have read many posts about people who have over stayed and been granted VISA. Where you 100% honest on the application form and told all in truth? , just want to say i appied my wife's with visa from jalandhar on the 22/03/12, and got a messege the next day to saying forwared to BHC, nothing changed for weeks but yesterday 28/05/12, got a message visa ready for collection. Today she went to the jalandhar office and the visa was stamped in the passport. So don't worry!!

Do not be disheartened dear. Its just every case is different, every applicant has different circumstances and moreover every case is handled by different caseworker. There are people who have applied just after me who have also not heard anything yet people on the 8th March, 10th March and also 16th march.
