Dear Forum Members,
I got the certificatete from my university on the official letterhead as below:
To Whomsoever it may concern
This is to certify that "ABC (Seat No. DEF)" has passed "GHI"
Examination held by this university in MONTH, YEAR in JKL Class. The degree was awarded on "MNO"date.
It is further certified that all courses run by this univeristy in English Medium.
Stamp and sign of the Univeristy Registrar.
Can anybody comment on the certificate? Will it work or not?
I cannot sit the IELTS now, cause I want to send my application before the christmas break.
Pls. suggest.
Para. 28 of HSMP:Guidance for applicants states that,
"We reseve the right to ask for an applicant to undertake an IELTS test in any circumstance where we do not consider that sufficient evidence has been provided regarding the applicant's level of English language."
So do we infer from this that if we score the required 75 points or more in the Section 1 of HSMP1, and they feel the English language requirement is not met (Even though one has provided the original certificate from the awarding body for the english language); in that case before refusing the application; would they ask us to take the IELTS exam? If it is so then it is good for the candidate.
Thanks All.
