Hi,
We are a couple together for more than 20 years (adopted 2 kids on partners name as it was the only way to do it way back then)
We have several issues that we just cannot figure out. Please help me!
She is being promoted to the UK by international company. She and the kids have British passports but she has never lived in the UK as an adult.
We want to enter together and then look for a nice house.
1.If we have more than 150 000 in savings and can provisionally book hotel accommodation, will that satisfy the accommodation requirement?
2.As she isnt living or working there yet she doesnt have a national health insurance number yet.How do we overcome this?
3.As relationships outside of marriage is not legal in our country of residence (10 years expats) she has been sponsoring me as a servant (we never fussed about stuff, live a low profile life, happy to raize our kids and just be)
Will this affect their decision at all?
4.As the company gives housing allowance (contract on my partners name only) the company pays utilties, schools, uni ect. we didnt do much jointly but we have 2 joint bank account, yes the madam and the maid..lol.
5.Our paper trail is sketchy to say the least because of where we live but we have pictures from the first day we received our first baby 20 years ago.
I have cards and letters from the kids but how to prove my love name is mamma and my partner's mommy? (my oldest started this and the littley just followed suite)We also have a joint will though.
Will this unmarried partnership visa be a problem for us?
We can do a fiance/ civil partnership intent visa but we dont really want to do a civil partnership. We have joint and seperate assets and this will just complicate our lives a little more. Also we want to return to this country one day and we joke that then we would just have to devorce again to do so.
Please help me with answers if you can.By virtue of where we live we are totally reliant on the internet and some of the rules are just not that clear.
Thanks again.
