Application (SET0) sent 20-March-12 acknowledgment received, Payment deducted within a Week but still waiting for my Biometric,

Called HO few days ago and they said you shud receive it within 10 days if not then call us back....

Bio-metrics letter received 9th of June
Bio-metrics enrolled in Romsey post office 11th of June

Now just waiting for the finish

Hi All

I applied for ILR Set (0) on 07 March 2012, Biometrics done 5 April 2012 and waiting since then nearly 14 weeks.

Just want know if anyone applied approdimately in this period got VISA already please update.

First of all thanks a lot for this wonderful forum, it gives me a light of hope everytime I visit this forum. I am a silent visitor on this forum and read all the post on daily basis hoping that people should get the visa around my dates, so that I can also hope for mine shortly.

Finaly I received my ILR today morning@8:40am. My details are:
Application Type: Set (O) Workpermit+Tier 1
Application posted: 14th Jan 2012
Money debited: 17/18th Jan 2012
ILR Stamp Date: 30th May 2012
ILR Recieved by Post: 13th June 2012.

Best of luck and best regards to those who are on the waiting list. I hope this week or next many of the Set(O) visa get approved.

Thanks for all your comments. Just wanted to add my processing times: Sent off application for ILR Set O (Ancestry) 24.02.12, received passport on 7.06.12 by second class mail recorded delivery, with Visa dated 22.05.12.
Had sent a fax to UK border agency several weeks before to ask for application to be expedited and to get information about status of application because of urgent need to travel.
Received no reply and had to cancel trip with great expense only to receive the passport on the morning of the date due to leave (travel had already been cancelled (very frustrating)). All the best for those still waiting.

I think I must have updated the list for the last 10 weeks or so since I took over and floating up to #3 on the SET O waiting list has been slow and painful... I'm really hoping it comes this week (or maybe next week looking at balu and vijay's timelines!). Happy for you or anyone else to take over at any time though if any of you are keen.

Shame, yeah I know, I saw in a previous post that you had being doing it for sometime now and a huge THANK YOU from all of us on the forum

I will be happy to take it over for a couple of weeks.... I just thought that maybe by one of us taking it over that it would mean your ILR can now be granted. ha ha...

I hope your visa comes through soon. What visa are you appling for ILR through? For example I was on an Ancestral Visa....?

Hi pala, just got my bio. invitation letter today 13/06/12 dated 30/05, had a shock when I notice that my name is incorrect. Trying to ring them is a nightmare!! Sorting out this silly mistake will delay my application's process. And to make things "easier" for me the nearest post office with the enrolment services is around 45 miles away from here!!

Did you get yours?

hello gala, i am sorry about your name spelt wrong on your bio letter. yes i gor mine on the 9th 06- 12 dated 31-05 12. done the biometric on 11th. last monday. hope you will get it sorted as soon as you can.

Hi Haridoss

Am afraid there is no option of travelling without a passport. Am in a similar situation with my mother really unwell. I sent in my application on 1st Feb and haven't heard anything yet. I emailed my local MP and he has promised to check the status of my application as well as request UKBA to expedite my application.

I would suggest you do the same and email / post them any medical evidence you have to show that your father in law is ill.

Hope your father in law gets well soon.

Unfortunately this is all we can do.

Hi, I never posted here but did follow the discussions. I got my passport today with my ILR and documents so I thought I would give my timing as I know how stressful the wait can be.

Application posted on 9 January 2012
Acknowledgement letter dated 11 January 2012
Passport stamped 1 June 2012
Passport and documents received by signed for delivery 15 June 2012

Good luck to everyone waiting and thank you for posting your timing. It helped me remain sane during this wait.

Finaly Good news arrived, Got my passport with ILR stamp dated 29 May 2012,

time line

applied 8 feb
money take within one week

it took almost 19 weeks in total

deliverd by second class signed for post, special delivery envelope sent but not used

all those waiting, best of luck just to let them know who are still waiting, be patient it will pay off
