Tier 2 (W) form

I'm trying to see if anyone else have the same issue as me.

My last extension left me 3 months short of the require ILR period. I spoke to UKBA and they confirmed I should use the T2(W) form which is a free extention but you can only apply via post.

In Feb 2012 I applied for my extension to my T2(General) visa using the T2(W). A week later I was sent an acknowledgement letter which advised me they would send me a letter for so I can go submit my biometric data. I have not yet received the letter for biometric data and it's already 4 months since the first letter.

Has anyone used the T2(W) form and what was your experience?
Has anyone waited so long for the letter that request the biometric data?

Nice to hear that some is sailing in the same boat
I was short of six months for my ILR I HAVE APPLIED USING T2(W) which is a free of cost application on march 12 th 2012 received acknoweledgement and nothing after that just waiting . My boss even rang them and the case worker replied that i need to have a new COS which we dont need them we mailed the link which UKBA posted in august 2011 then she replied sorry that was their mistake they are rectifying it thats it nothing else after that its been two months after that now.
