IELTS Academic or General

Hi,

It appears that there are two ways you can take IELTS, one is Academic and another is General

Which one is easier to take ?

I found general is easier than Academic. My collegues also have said the same. I also spoke to ILETS teacher which said the same things
However it could be different from person to person.

IELTS General Training module is indeed easier than the Academic module. Since a IELTS test report is valid for a couple of years, attempting the academic module ensures that you can use your test report if you want to become a student in UK/NZ/Aus. If HSMP is the only aim for your IELTS, Go for the General Training module.
