Hi Forum,

After several phone calls, the NARIC has said my bachelors is equivalent to the UK bachelors.

But dont know when would I get the letter of comparison, which I want to send with my HSMP application.

Your letter was posted only 6 working days and Royal Mail advises it takes 10 -12 working days.

Both masters and bachelors degrees r equivalent to UK NARIC

Once i recieve the reference no, i will fax it to HO..No is given in FAQ's..Need to check...

Well they r processing very fast...I guess we wil not get the time to send it by post..Only thing we can do is to FAX them...

People from India, s arab, UK..all r getting results in one week...

Hi All,

I contacted the UK NARIC for the the comparison letter, they are sending it through standard Royal Mail, which does not have a rererence n umber so you cannot track the status of the letter on the Royal Mail website.

If one wants to receive the letter by courier, in that case, one has to inform NARIC in advance, pay for the the courier, and they would send the letter through courier. That saves time.

However the cost of the courier would be higher than the cost of the NARIC evaluation service!!!!

Check the christmas vacation of HSMP team before you send....

Hi if u know ur NARIC result was positive then u can send HSMP app without that...Just mention that u git it evaluated and ur enquiry no id XXXXXX. HSMP will verify using the ID.

Hi All,

I have received the NARIC evulation letter today and the duratio is 14 days

Result is :

First of all they have evulated degree and higer secondary couresl(10th-+2)

1.Degree assessment :

Is considered comparable to British Bachelor(Honours) degree standard

2. Higher secondary Course assessment is :

Is considered comparable to GCE Advanced Subsidiary (AS) level /Scottish Higer standard

3.Secondary School
Is considered comparable to GCSE (grades A*-C) credit standard Grade standard

It is a two page a from Naric team, is it same everyone received ?

Hi HSMP_2007,

I received the e-mail from NARIC; staing the content in the same fashion like yours.

Yes, They did evaluation for
1) Bachelor Degree,
2) H.S.C. - 12TH Standard
3) S.S.C. - 10TH Standard

strange, the guy who did the evaluation for me wrote, he cant tell me the status through email or fax. also said, i cant bend the rules and give u the information and if i do it for u, i have to do it for everyone.
today i checked in the POST OFFICE and they said the letter hasnt come yet.
i wanted to courier tomorrow as i have all docs ready. though chrismas i want to send them and once they are out of my hands , its all insha allah.
the guy who did verify, said they will be dispatched on monday, i.e 11th dec. in that case i will get on 25th. when i phoned, she said they were dispatched on 8th. donno wahts the issue.

by the way nnj10, whom did u email. i got mail from tracy. i think he/she did the verificyation. she bluntly rejected my request to mail me the resut.

Hi Freebirds,

I got Fax from NARIC team, at last.
You can send the mail to NARIC team and request them to Fax you the comparison letter; citing the reason that christmas holidays may delay the delivery of letter.

I did a lot of chasing around and at last got the Fax.

I mailed to info@naric.org.uk
And the respondents were two different people.
I guess you have mail ID of Tracy.

Try to contact this guy, and request him to send you Fax:

i tell u tracy is a tough guy. he doenst seem to go beyond rules to fax or email.
he had sent me a strong email saying he cant email or fax it.
i will try this evening. hope they are worining today.
btw when did u get the fax ..today..
do we need to pay any fee for the fax ..

i did email info@naric.....
and i got the below reply

The UK NARIC will close for Christmas on Friday 22nd December and will re-open on Tuesday 2nd January.
Your enquiry will be answered as soon as possible after 2nd January.
We wish you all a Merry Festive Season and see you in 2007.

btw when did u email them and when did u get the fax...pl respond
