IELTS For those seeking to extend their existing LTR

"Please note that, whilst for initial applications submitted under HSMP, the IELTS Report Form must be less than two years old at the time of application, for those seeking to extend their existing leave under HSMP, IELTS Report Forms which were issued more than two years prior to the date of the extension application, will be accepted"

The above quotation was taken from HO official document.

My understanding is that:

Those who are seeking for extension, have IELTS with score >6.0 but it is already 3 YEARS OLD They DO NOT need to sit for IELTS again.

Am I 100% Correct ??.
Has anyone confirm this to HO ??
