desperate help needed.

a girl is on a student nurse visa. the prosperctive employer applied a WP [senior health care assistant WP] the WP was refused on the grounds that she wont be able to switch over student nurse to Senior Health care assistant WP.her visa expired last week. employer withdrawn the WP application. she found another employer who applied registered general nurse WP just 2 days back. but y'day she got a letter from FLR [IED] team together with her passport says that she has to go leave the country. besided that her Indian Passpot expires on 7th jan.

Sorry, what help are you looking for? Where to book flights back to her country before her passport expires?

john , she need help with her visa extension. would it be possible for her to send the FLR[IED] again after getting the WP from the new employer. is it possible for her to renew her indian passport on a visa expired passport? do high commission renew the passport on a expired passport. her employer is confident that she get the work permit. do u think they consider her FLR[ied] if she get a WP? sorry to bombarded with questions. she is very depressed at the moment.

It lookes like the employer made a grave mistake by saying that she will be switching in the UK, while she had to go back to India with her, hopefully, granted WP.

Anyway, as soon as the visa expired there is NO chance of switching within the UK.

Sorry, that is the law.

many thanx antontony for yr reply. is it possible for her to renew the passport here in the UK at the indian high commission? no. her employer didnt say that she will be switching over here. but trhe WP [senior carer] was refused by saying some silly matters by the business team.

but there are instances where people switched over before. one of my friend switched over recently.

You can certainly switch, but under the rules. Some time ago it was possible to do it outside the rules, before 2004.

Now, again, if a visa is expired, there is nothing you can do about it, apart from claiming asylum.

Well, as a matter of fact, I do not know as I am qualified in the UK/EEA law.

Ask that person to get a call to her BHC.
