applying for British Citizenship and time out from UK

Post by hpgalliford » Tue Jul 10, 2012 2:29 pm

Hi

I have ILR since November 2011 (10 yrs) and my wife got her ILR on 16 May 2012.

She now intends to travel abroad (2nd aug - 30 Oct)
If we count the days they are exactly 90 days - and if the travel dates are not included then 88 days
Do you guys think it will be a problem for us to apply for her naturalisation coz of this 90 days gap? the guidance says not more than 90 days. but are we pushing the limit here?

Please advise

Kind Regards

You don't count the day of departure or the day of re-entry into the UK

OK that's great - if the traveling dates are not counted- then the total number of days out of UK will be 88 so all safe then

Thanks a lot for your help and advise

Kind Regards
