asylum case

Post by unlessabod » Mon Jan 23, 2012 1:55 pm

Hi,

I am hoping to get some advice about my case; it would be great to hear your thoughts.

I am a Syrian Citizen, probably you heard about the current situation in Syria. I have some of my family member killed and I am wanted there because I used to protest against the government. At the moment I am in Egypt for the last 4 months, I am still getting threatened by people from the Syrian regime here and I have no residency or right to work.

I would like to apply for an asylum in the UK, as I am in Egypt now, I was thinking to book a flight to anywhere where I don’t require visa via London and when I arrive to Heathrow airport, ask to see an immigration officer and explain my situation and apply for asylum.

I am not sure how strong my case is, also is there a possibility that they will return me to Syria or Egypt?

Thanks a lot in advance for your advice.

you can apply for the asylum once you are with in the border of the certain country you want them consider your application for the asylum , i am not sure how it would be possible for someone to fly without visa

secondly i would suggest you to contact to certain embassy of the country in which you want to apply asylum. I am sure they would help you and give you proper advice regarding asylum process
