original bank statements & payslips

Post by minny » Mon Jan 01, 2007 11:44 am

Do I still have to get my bank statements and payslips signed and stamped even if they are original documents? My payslips bear the organisation name at the top.

Thanks for your help

The guidelines say that if the payslips are online printouts, it needs signature and stamp. If the payslips are on company official paper then I think there is no need to obtain stamp and signature. If you provide Bank statements in which the salary credits corroborates with that shown on the payslips, then there should be no problem.

Having said that, if possible, you can obtain signature and stamp even though the pay slips are on official paper. This is not a requirement, but if the caseworker does not believe that the payslips were actually printed on official paper, then the signature and stamp can reassure the caseworker.
