Is ur wife planning to work in europe too? If not she can apply for shengen visa in her own right, not sponsored by ur company. If for business than I guess she'd need a business visa or Work Permit for each individual country and if one of them is Germany, good bloody luck cos we just waited four months for one....seanjoe wrote:hi there, its actually for my wife, who is on an Indian passport. She holds New Zealand permanent residency.
Sounds like a Schengen business visa is what she needs. Have a look on the schengen web site - it's the same form just tick the appropraite boxes for business. I dunno if it's any quick but if she's on business it shouldn't be a tourist visa.seanjoe wrote:shie is planning on working in europe but not germany luckily. would it take less timet o get a business visa as opposed to a personal visa?
I that case mate I'd err on the side of her needing work permits for each country. I'm no expert tho! I'd consider a business visa to used for such things as meetings abroad, talking to customers, pressing the flesh etc.seanjoe wrote:Its for doing training work for her company which has a client in Europe, running demos, etc. don't know what category this sort of activities come under.
