Urgent Help please SEGS to Work permit

Hi,

I'm currently holding the SEGS and my employer would extend my stay with work permit.

However, the work permit application still in process and not send out yet but my current visa, SEGS will be expired next week.

Can i stay in UK even my visa expired?
or
I have to apply the FLR even my work permit application not yet ready?

Any suggestion?
Is anyone know the answer or solution?

In order to maintain your legal right to live (and work) in the UK you need to submit the FLR(IED) before your visa expires, even if you have not had the work permit decision. Obviously you are running the risk of losing the money if the work permit is rejected.

Wait as long as you can, then submit the FLR(IED) the day before your visa expires.

But the problem comes with filling the application form.
What should we fill up in the form where we request a reference number for work permit.?

Just leave it blank. You can include a covering letter to explain if you like, they'll find your work permit application by your name, date of birth, nationality anyway.

Do you know where can i get this information from internet?
because i need to show my employer that FLR application is required before my current visa expire.

I mention this problem to him before but he said do not worry.
So i would like show him some information or evidence about this.

Hi WoodieG,

My girlfriend is currently in her home country and i would like apply unmarried partner visa for her.

What should i do?
Is her application seperates with my FLR application?
or
I have to mention this in my FLR application?
