Dependent Visa Docs Check - Please Advice

Hi Guys,

I am Indian national here in the UK on WP, I got engaged 8 months ago and getting married in 2 weeks time in India.

I want my future wife to accompany me after the wedding, so once we get marriage certificate, she will be applying for dependent visa.

I am enclosing, marriage certificate, wedding pictures, wedding invitation copy, my passport copies, Visa endorsements, about 4-6 months of bank statements, tenancy agreement, employer letter etc.
My salary is directly credited to bank account hence bank statements reflect payment details.. so I was just wondering should I still need to include pay slips?? it's just that I haven't kept my previous pay slips - I might obtain electronic ones, I am not sure whether it is very much essential?? including utility bills, council tax letter etc..

I am also enclosing air tickets which I have booked for her to come along with me, which is 2 weeks after the wedding.

I will follow it up with a letter explaining how, where and when we first met and kept in contact throughout.

I don't have too much of savings.. I would say less than £1000, Is this sufficient?? Any advice much appreciated..

Legend, I geuss, you are fine.
I went through a simillar thing in 2003 , it was all ok. Now I will say you have actually gone too far buying the airline tickets and and all but its all good.
My advice will to you will be save a bit more or take money off credit card and deposit in your bank account or get a loan, especially if you wife to be is coming to the UK to depend on you then £1000 is definately not enough espicially since her income will not be assessed, not unless you or she have some money in a bank in India to show that that belongs to her. What i will advice is put some more money in de bank and you will be fine. you could have waited and not buy the ticket untill she has the visa then you eill have more money in your bank.

Thank you very much for your advice. I think I am bit too late now to arrange a loan as I have very few days left.. I'll see what I can do and keep my fingers crossed, Hopefully they will see the genuiness more than the finance.
