Try visit uk second time

Post by jbt2403 » Mon Sep 17, 2012 10:10 pm

Hi everyone I need some advise, on July 2007 i travelled to the UK, at heathrow airport immigration officers didn't allow me in. and I was sent back to my country.
Now I would like to go again for holidays, but I'm confused some people told me I would not be allowed for 5 years others told me 10 years.

Officers gave me documents were these two options were ticked.

* There is insufficient reliable information to decide on whether to grant you temporary admission or release

* You have failed to give satisfactory or reliable answers to an Immigration Officer's enquiries.

I would really appreciate any advise

Thanks

All that is required of you is to apply for a visit visa before you travel.

Thanks Lucapooka, I'm planning to apply for a visa before travelling, but I'm worried for the fact I was sent back from the airport will affect my new application

Well it has affected it. It means you are now obliged to apply for a visit visa before you travel rather than being admitted as a visitor on arrival (like other travellers of your nationality). However, if you are deemed to be a genuine visitor and have managed to remove whatever barriers or concerns prevented your previous entry, you should have no problems.
