Need module to finish degree

Have two queries:

1. Can a Tier-4 student take up a module at a college other than her sponsoring college, if the sponsoring college gives permission to do so?

2. Can a tier-4 student take up a distance learning course/module to fulfill requirements of her current UK degree. if sponsoring college gives permission to do so?
