ILR Married with a British Citizen new rules question

Hi all, I am married with a British Citizen and in 2010 received my 2 years spouse visa. After that I could apply for ILR which I've done.
I've sent my application form(M) on 25th July 2012, my visa expired on 11/08/12. Will I be affected by the new rules(from 09th July) and instead of receiving the ILR will I receive more 2.5 years of visa and then apply for settlement?
