HSMP: Earnings and maternity

Hi all,

My question is: If you have been on a maternity during the last 12 months before applying for FLR, would the Stationary Maternity Pay (SMP) counts as earnings or the formal salary does? Because even if I am earning enough to secure 75 points, 6-9 months maternity (and just £465 per month SMP) would throw me out of their system... :roll:

Anyone can help?

xs_07 - I don't think anyone on this forum will be able to answer your question with certainty. You should definitely contact HO for this.
