fiance visa important questions

Question

I intend to apply for a fiance visa.

Could anyone please advice me on these questions.

Is a studio flat big enough for two people to live in?
Area of the flat is 35- 40m2 (meter square).

Another question, regarding salary i have started work (Full time with a contract) on 27 Nov 2006, salary is 25,000/year with no savings. would that be enough for two people? rent is about £ 500 a month.

I will be applying this month, is necessary to be working six months before applying for a fiance visa?

A friend of mine is willing to help me financially , he is willing to deposite a sum of £2000 in my savings.

Would the ECO accept this amount of money, as i read somewhere on this forum that they are suspicious of lump sums!!!!!
