switch from FRL back to Tier 1 General

i have two urgent questions for a friend

1. does anyone know the enquiry email address of UKBA?
2. here is my friend's situation

2011 Feb got Tier 1 General
2012 April switch from Tier 1 into FLR(m), new Visa received in August

his family request him back to him country for a year (taking over family business), therefore, he worried this could effect his current FLR as unmarried to British citizen. as the couple will separate for at least a year during the prohibited two years.

so the question is is it possible that he change it back to Tier 1 General? and also continue apply for extension of Tier 1 General in Jan 2013 ?
