Tier2 VISA extension from India from different employer

Hello Friends,

I have been living in UK since July2008 on Tier2 ICT VISA. My current VISA expires in April,2013 and current VISA category is long term staff.

My work with the current employer is cancelled and have to travel back to India in First week of December this year.

At this point i do not want miss the chance to apply for ILR in July after living here for more than 4.5 years.

UK based employer is ready to give the sponsorship for me. Since i have not yet got the sponsorship i am planning to apply for Tier2 extension from India once i got offer letter and sponsorship.

I need to serve 2 months with the current employer.

Can i apply for Tier2 VISA from India before April,2013 (current VISA expiry date) if i get a sponsorship from different employer? If so, on which Tier2 sub category i am eligible to apply?

If i am not eligible to apply for a VISA from India before April,2013 what are the other alternatives for me?

Please advice me on this.
