Start Date of Job for COS(Tier 2 General)

Hi guys,

I will be applying for T2 General in next week or so. Just a quick question.

When filling up details in COS what should I put as start date ?

My current visa (PSW) expires on 1st April 2013.

I guess the date has to be as soon as possible. For example if you can do it for today or a date next week?
