Allowance earned in another country

Hi,

I am currently in UK from India(permanant employment) on Work Permit for 5 months and I get this £2200 per month as "Allowance" rather than salary.

My company clearly states this in WP application that I am being sent to UK on a temporary basis. Further it states in WP application that I will retturn back to my company in India, once my work is complete.

As stated earlier my company pays NI and all taxes etc. ( I don't have any UK benefits like car, health plan, house... NOTHING) but get India benefit like PF etc. STILL while in UK.

My allowance is credited to a UK bank account.

Should I be considered for India or UK earnings based on allowance I get in UK ?[/i]

let us know where do you get your Pay slips .... india or uk ????

if you are not getting a payslip in uk then you cannot count that earning as from uk ....

since i am in UK i get sal credited in uk bank a/c

forgetting the bank statement for a second.

do you get a payslip in UK? and do you have a NI number in UK? and is your NI number printed on your payslip? In a months time, will you be getting a P60?

In my opinion, If the above is not true, then you can't claim the money you earned in the UK (which are pure allowances) as salary in UK.
