PSW to tier 2 need urgent advice

Dear Manci,

I am on PSW like to move tier2. Work in NHS my salary 18,000-21,000 including HCA (High cost area allowance) which is 4000. my employer happy to give me Sponsor. My job is skill however, salary is lower than 20,000. Do you think I should apply for Tier 2. or any suggestion please?

your pay must be at least £20,000, or the minimum stated in the job SOC code, whichever the higher. If the HCA is part of the guaranteed salary package it can be included in the pay.

which one they consider

NQF 6 or salary at least 20000?

because in the point calculator for tier 2 in UKBA website it just mentioned
if if is £20000 then can get full point!

and for my job title in the SOC it says the salary should be around 17000 but didn't mentioned whether included allowance or not.

so if I put my salary 21000 including the allowance..will it be ok?

so if I put my salary 21000 including the allowance..will it be ok? It is the employer (not you) who has to certify in the CoS what your salary including allowances and the NQF6 job SOC code are. The salary incl. HCA must be at least £20k or what the minimum specified in the SOC is, whichever the higher. Please help really grateful to you. thanx
