Hi, I got my HSMP today ( 2nd application). I am in UK as student dependant and think I have to go to India to to applyfor EC. Do you know how much does it cost to get EC from India. Also, If I have student dependant visa till jan 2009, can I apply for EC under HSMP in June 2007?

EC from india will cost you roughly 8k INR

You can apply for EC within 6 months from the date of your HSMP approval letter.
