Student visa for 7 yrs + WP visa 3 years = ILR ?

Hi,

I have been a on continuous student visa in the UK for 7 years and switched to a work permit (FLR IED) visa afterwards and still currently employed for 3 years.

Would I qualify to apply for ILR at the end of my 10 years here ?

A simple question ... the simple answer ... yes!

As long as the person is legally in the UK for at least 10 years then a 10-year Long Residence application can be made. It matters not what type of visa was held at various times in the 10 year period.

Well yes, but only just! The application can be submitted no earlier than 28 days before the completion of the 10 years legally in the UK.
