Getting Home Office to change stamp

Post by hot-tamales » Tue Feb 13, 2007 2:16 am

Hi all,

I am a US citizen studying for 4 months in London. I received an "employment and recourse to public funds prohibited" stamp because I didn't realize we had to ask for permission to work beforehand. I've been doing research online and one site mentioned that it is possible to apply to Home Office and ask for them to change the stamp. Has anyone done this before or know anything about the process? Thanks!
