Any approvals without Bank statement? In anotha persons name

Post by tawana12 » Tue Feb 13, 2007 6:26 pm

I am in the process of applying for HSMP. To show proof of earnings I will be providing documentation from 2 jobs. I would like to provide bank statements as proof but unfortunately when I initially arrived in UK on WHM visa I was turned down by banks because of my visa stamp (appeared dodgy because EC officer had written new rules in pen on visa). My salary was therefore deposited into my mother's account for the first 5 months and then later was deposited into my own bank a/c after I finally managed to open an a/c of my own.
Should I still provide bank statements or do u think they will not accept them as evidence because they are in my mother's name? My wage slips do corroborate the amounts deposited weekly but I am still not sure because my second job was deposited into a separate a/c via cheque every week. So far I have for proof:

Main Job
P60 2005/2006
Wage slips (signed and stamped)
Letter from Employer verifying originality of wage slips
Employment contract (still digging for it but should be able to dig it up)

Part-Time Job
Wage Slips
Letter From Employer
Employment Contract
No P60 because began the job in May 2006

Is this enough evidence without the bank statements or should I submitt bank statements in mother's name along with mine.

I dont see a problem with your bank statements.

Just submit all the bank statements (both first job) and second job. And explain the cover letter , the reason for first 5 months salary being deposited into your Mother's account.

It is very common to switch jobs and banks, so it is also common to have different payslips and different statements during the period claimed.

Best of luck.
