Job market for J2EE with Vignette Portal experience

Hi,
I got my HSMP + EC recently. I will be traveling to UK in couple of months.

I am from India and I have got around 8 years experience in J2EE out of which 3 years in vignette Portal .

I have couple of questions

1) How is Job market for my profile ?

2) I submitted my resume in couple of job sites. some how I am not getting that much response . Do we have to be in UK to get these calls ?

3) Any Indian MNCs looking for people with HSMP ?
